See how to export your Pilot Logbook and monthly Crew Schedules from the AIMS crew portal, check the preview in LOGBOOKAIR and generate your PDF logbook. You export the files yourself — LOGBOOKAIR does not connect to your airline account.
The recording uses records that were already in the account, so its preview offers updates and it leaves without approving them. Your first import shows the new records it would add.
Your first AIMS import
- Check that your export is listed on Supported Files.
- In the AIMS crew portal, export your Pilot Logbook for the period you want. HTML is preferred; keep the original file.
- For roster detail, also export each matching month's Crew Schedule. The Pilot Logbook can be imported on its own.
- Check the date range and the time reference (for example UTC) shown in the portal.
- In LOGBOOKAIR, open Import and add the Pilot Logbook, then any Crew Schedules. Wait for the combined preview.
- Review the proposed additions and updates, simulator sessions, times and findings. Nothing is saved until you approve.
- Generate your PDF for the dates you need and check the entries and totals brought forward before saving or printing.
- If your layout is not recognised, use the format-review or Support route. Renaming a file does not make it supported.
